Community-Based Rehabilitation Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct data collection and outreach activities:

  • Reach out to host communities, associations, institutions, and foreign communities across Lebanon.
  • Conduct interviews for data collection and outreach.
  • Create and organize files for each case.
  • Promote attendance and ensure participation in sessions and training.
  • Implement project activities as needed.

 

2. Coordinate and follow up with the beneficiaries:

  • Collaborate with the center’s staff and external partners of the association to ensure effective coordination.
  • Organize sessions and training for beneficiaries, ensuring that all relevant parties are well-informed and present.
  • Conduct coaching sessions to train participants on effective communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Follow up with beneficiaries after they receive their grants to monitor progress and ensure that the funds are used appropriately for their intended purposes.
  • Participate in working groups to enhance both institutional and inter-institutional collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong connections with potential partners and members of the association to further the mission of the social activities and serve as many people as possible.

 

3. Ensure proper documentation and reporting:

  • Write a report about the activities conducted along with its related documentation (pictures, attending sheets etc.).

 

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Social Work, Sociology.

 

Professional Experience:

  •  One to three years of experience, with previous exposure to Lebanese communities preferred.

 

Skill Set and Competencies: 

  • Proficient in community service techniques.
  • Basic project implementation knowledge.
  • Familiar with needs assessment.
  • Experience with Lebanese communities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive.
  • Good listening and analytical skills.
  • Committed to confidentiality.
  • Patient and empathetic.

 

Language Proficiency:

  • Arabic: Fluent
  • English: Fluent
  • French: Strong Asset.

 

Working Schedule: Monday till Friday; from 08:00 AM till 04:00 PM

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract, 10 Months (Renewable based on funding and the need for position).

Location: Jisr El Wati, Sin El Fil, Beirut
