JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Contract Officer prepares contracts and contract amendments for PHCCs and community centers supported by IMC, as well as any other external partnerships or procurement of services.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare all contracts and amendments for all IMC contracts with second parties including but not limited to Primary Health Care Centers, Community Centers, and vendors on the internal rules and regulations.
• Make sure all the contracts and related documentation are stored properly within the shared folders.
• Coordinate actions with internal and external program, procurement, compliance and legal teams, if needed.
• Regularly track and report status of all contract processes to the direct supervisor and related departments, as applicable.
• Internal follow up with Compliance in regard to the status of submitted contracts and communicate updates to the related teams,
• Submit contracts to Headquarters for approvals and follow up as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
• Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied and as per IMC contract guidelines and protocols. In the case of health facilities, ensure that these terms are properly negotiated by the Health Field Teams and be available to support as needed.
• Resolve any existing contract conflicts, in collaboration with legal counsel as needed
• Follow up to guarantee contractual payments have been made. Review Payment Tracking Sheet issued by Finance, flagging any issues and delays to management, and provide updates to program teams as requested.
• Track, record, and alert all relevant teams for contract expiration and initiate the renewal process if needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Typically, a Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business administration or related fields. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience working in similar position or related field.
• Previous NGO experience
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
• Excellent reading and language comprehension (English and Arabic).
• Ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute contracts
• Exceptional communication skills (oral and written, English and Arabic)
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
