Insecurity Insight identified at least 896 incidents that took place at IDP/refugee camps in 19 countries and one territory between January and April 2025. Camps came under attack through raids and bombings, with residents arrested, injured, killed, or subjected to sexual violence. Most incidents were reported from the occupied Palestinian territory.
Food-related violence continued to be reported in Sudan between 1 January and 31 March 2025 in addition to the blockading of essential food supplies from urban areas, most notably in El Fasher. This briefing provides an overview of the most frequently reported forms of food violence over this period.

Insecurity Insight’s monitoring indicates that between 2016 and 2024, at least 21 aid workers and 73 health workers, six of which worked for health NGOs, were reportedly killed in drone attacks.
