Emergency Distribution Monitors

About the position: Tabitha is looking for a daily Emergency Distribution Monitors who will be responsible for supporting the distribution of meals in shelters. The Emergency Distribution Monitors reports to the Project Manager.

Areas: The interested candidate should be from the following areas: Beirut, Metn, Aley, Jbeil and Keserwan. Candidates should clearly specify in the email subject the area they are interested in.

Job requirements: The candidate should have a driving license and a car.

Responsibilities and essential functions:

  • Coordinate with the shelter focal point to confirm the daily quantity of meals needed, and inform the project coordinator of any issues or changes in numbers to prevent food waste.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen focal point and truck drivers, and track the truck's route from the kitchen to shelters to monitor the distribution process, ensuring food safety and hygiene.
  • Prepare the daily supporting documentation.
  • Complete and submit required documents to the project coordinator on a daily basis.
  • Oversee distribution at shelters, gathering general feedback from focal points and, if needed, from internally displaced people.
  • Notify the project coordinator of any discrepancies, evidence of misuse, abuse, or diversion of commodities during distribution, as well as any current or anticipated obstacles.
  • Provide daily reports on the number of meals received and distributed, in line with project requirements.
  • Be flexible to work on weekends if needed.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Skills:

  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication Skills
  • Good in writing daily reports
  • Capacity and willingness to travel to the field
  • Preferably that candidate resides in the same relevant area.
