Job Purpose: Assessment of community shelters in Akkar for weatherproofing and rehabilitation.

Major Activities:

• Assess approximately 80 community shelters housing IDPs in the Akkar governorate to identify minor rehabilitation and weatherproofing needs.
• Provide comprehensive reports on the rehabilitation measures required to ensure proper weatherproofing, including photo documentation of current conditions.
• Submit detailed assessment reports with recommendations for each shelter, outlining required interventions, cost estimates, and material specifications.
• Provide regular progress reports for each milestone: assessment completion, prioritization, and rehabilitation oversight.
• To aid the procurement department in the specifications for materials needed for the rehabilitation process.

People Management: 

• Coordination with the field team, focal point, finance, and procurement team to ensure quality of work and meeting project deadline
• Supervising the rehabilitation work done

Key Performance Indicators:

• Tasks needed within a specific time frame, with reports/photos sent to document for the donor

Education Background:

Engineering degree, previous experience in rehabilitation work
