Production of short educational videos and Short Films

1. Background

In the framework of its project (Protecting Women and Girls from Sexual Harassment in Taxi, Developmental Action to all People – Mousawat in partnership with Tripoli Bar Association and funded by Women Peace and Humanitarian Fund and with Technical Support by UN Women has been working on the issues of raising awareness about sexual harassment in Taxi in North Lebanon.  

The popularization effort around the concept of sexual harassment in Taxi has since begun with an initiative that done three years ago and ended with research. As part of this cooperation, Developmental Action to all people - Mousawat aims at producing short Two educational videos and short films that make the issue of education about the definition of sexual harassment, main reasons behind harassment accessible to a broad public.

2. General Objectives

In order to raise awareness about sexual harassment, through the production of knowledge for all ages and to help align with the law 205, Mousawat is seeking to contract a service provider to produce short videos on the definition of sexual harassment and seeks to know the level of knowledge about Law 205 in Tripoli, it is a Vox Pop Interviews. The other short movie is an animation movie that aims to explain the main reasons behind sexual harassment.

3. Object of the tender

Developmental Action to all People - Mousawat team is looking for an agency or a freelancer to provide the following services:

• Production and editing of one short educational videos (5 min) about definition of Sexual Harassment and Law 205 through interviewing people in street in Tripoli.
• Production and editing of one short animation film on the main reasons behind sexual harassment.
• All videos and films must be subtitled in English and Arabic
• The narrative of the videos and films are realized and validated in collaboration with Developmental Action to all People – Mousawat.

4. Target Groups

• Parents, Women, Girls, Youth and men.
• Decision makers, official bodies, national institution, policy makers
• Media, NGOs and other civil society organizations in Lebanon.

4. Proposal, Award and Tender submission deadline

Necessary qualification: A professional and involved agency or freelancer with at least 3 years’ experience in video and film design; Good knowledge of small producers issues in the region will be an asset;

The order will be issued as a service contract and the provider should submit the following documents:

• Financial offer

The financial offer must specify the remuneration.

The application can be conducted in Arabic or English.
