Job Overview

CodeBrave is recruiting highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for assisting teachers in their delivery of STEM Education training to students aged 9-14 or assisting Teacher Training programmes for local school teachers.

Required Skills

• Fresh graduate or Senior majoring in Computer Science, Math, Science or Education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and connect with children.
• An interest in developing yourself as an educator.
• Proficiency with a wide range of digital tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students and colleagues.
• A passion for helping others develop their digital skills and confidence.

Areas Of Responsibility

• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment. 
• Record student attendance to class; schedule, administer and mark M&E assessments.
• Participate in teacher training, both technical and pedagogical; Attend other meetings with the CodeBrave team as required.
• Support staff on awareness raising events.

Salary

$10-12 per hour of teaching time, depending on the project.
