- Assist in all diagnostic procedures
- Feed all patients according to medical order
- Take vital signs and record them on TPR sheet
- Report any abnormal changes in patient medical status to the Registered Nurse/ In- Charge Nurse
- Empty Foley catheter bags, record findings and inform RN in case of abnormality
- Weigh and measure the height of all admitted patient to the floor
- Put bracelet on all patients’ wrist, when admitted to floor
- Check and report the unit’s materials availability to superiors (linen, gauzes, sets…)
- Give postmortem care (cleanness, roll in clean cover…)
- Prepare patients to surgical procedures (shaving, giving enemas…)
- Performing routine patients’ safety rounds on hourly bases
- Ensure proper maintenance and use of medical equipment and report any misusage or malfunctioning to RN
