Background

Oxfam is a global movement of people, working together to end the injustice of poverty. Oxfam has been working in Lebanon since 1993. We provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people affected by conflict, and we promote economic justice and good governance, and women’s rights. Oxfam also works with local partners to contribute to the protection and empowerment of marginalized women and men.

Purpose

Oxfam is seeking a company for the supply of a Generator 150 KVA for SLWE in Deir Mimas Pump station, benefiting two villages in south.

Operational objective:

1. Supply and install Generator 150 KVA/ 120 KW

• With alternator and controller (automatic controller with digital screen)
• Manufactured by EU or Equivalent
• Four strokes, water, cooled, turbo charged.
• Frequency and Engine Speed: 1500 rpm / 50 Hz
• 3 Phase
• Fuel Type: Diesel
• sound canopy ((60db at 1m noise ratio)
• High quality, reliable and complete power unit.
• Compact design.
• Easy start and maintenance possibility.
• Heavy duty diesel engine
• Direct injection fuel system

2. Generator Cable: 30-meter generator cable, 35 mm² cooper or equivalent, 3-phase, multicore.

Specifications: Heavy-duty industrial-grade cable suitable for outdoor use, providing robust power transmission and durability

3. Fuel Tank: 1000-liter fuel tank, made of 3 mm thick steel, coated with level indicator.

Specifications: Elevated 50 cm above ground level, fully secured with brackets and anchoring points, designed to prevent spills, and ensure safety

4. After Sales & Warranty Services for 3 years (include cleaning of generator, inspection, changing of oil, filters. Inspecting the ait intake system.

5. The Contractor’s relationship will directly be with OXFAM staff OXFAM will inform the contractor on the date of delivery.

6. An Oxfam staff or a representative will be responsible to monitor and confirm the work.

7. The contractor should have the capacity to complete this task within 5 days.

Selection criteria for administrative compliance:

 Company Profile.

• Copies of Institution registration certificate and VAT registration certificate (if available) applicable for companies only not individuals.

Selection criteria for technical compliance, the supplier should provide:

• Data Sheets for Generator
• Company Profile
• At least two years of experience in the same domain (company name, contact name and phone number).
• Two references should be longstanding customers of at least one year (company name, contact name and telephone number).
• Submit a letter indicating that they have equipment to transfer and install the generator.
• Bank details (fresh account if applicable)

Pricing / Required Details

The prices must be presented according to the following titles:

1. All tenderers must be qualified technically and financially to be able to submit their offers.
2. The unit prices and rates must be presented in Fresh US dollars for each of the offer items.

NB: This purchase is made for emergency situations.

Coordination and Supervision

The activity will be supervised by Oxfam’s team. Oxfam may assign additional staff during the implementation of activity.

Date of start: 5 days after signing the agreement.

Timeframe and Payment

 100% payment after delivery of the requested quantity, technical approval and submitting the financial documents.
