IT officer (3 months)

Scope of work

 

The IT Officer will be responsible for the following activities:

 

1. System Installation and Configuration:

o Install and configure Moodle LMS on-premises.

o Ensure system compatibility with existing hardware and software infrastructure.

o Perform troubleshooting and testing during the implementation phase.

 

 

 

2. Course Development:

o Assist in creating e-courses tailored to the target audience.

o Upload and format course content for accessibility.

o Test courses to ensure functionality and usability.

 

 

 

3. Account Management:

o Create and manage admin and end-user accounts.

o Set appropriate access levels and permissions.

 

 

 

4. Knowledge Transfer:

o Provide hands-on training for the IT team on Moodle LMS operation and maintenance.

o Develop detailed user guides and documentation for system management.

 

 

 

 

 

5. Support and Reporting:

o Act as the primary contact for technical issues during the implementation period.

o Submit weekly progress updates and a final comprehensive report on project completion.

 

 

 

6.   Additional Duties:

 

o Support any additional tasks or projects assigned by the IT Manager or the head of the PHC department at MOPH, which may include special system upgrades, emergency system needs, or public health response activities.

Deliverables and Schedules

· Fully operational Moodle LMS on-premises by the end of Month 2.

· At least 5 e-courses uploaded and tested for functionality.

· Admin and end-user accounts created and verified.

· Training sessions for the IT team with detailed user manuals.

· Weekly progress reports summarizing activities, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

· A final report at the end of the assignment, summarizing the overall performance, challenges encountered, and recommendations for future distributions.
