Assess beneficiary’s needs identified during daily activities and make appropriate referrals for services.
Directly follow-up affected beneficiaries to service providers when needed to ensure access to services.
Ensure safe and secure storage of and beneficiaries related data.
Coordinate with community care workers at center level to facilitate referrals following the referral pathway.
Update the service mapping on all services related to the key population.
Help beneficiaries achieve wellness and autonomy.
Ensure targets are met according to donor’s requirements.
Follow up with beneficiaries to keep track of their progress and to ensure satisfaction.
Record cases information, complete all necessary forms accurately and produce statistical reports.
Assess and address motivational and psychosocial issues.
Adhere to AFA’s policies, rules, and regulations.
Develop educational sessions for beneficiaries upon request.
Any other tasks may be assigned.
Deliver psychosocial support activities,specifically Focus Psychosocial Support (FPSS) and CBPSS for the beneficiaries.
Plan and design focused PSS and CBPSS activities in collaboration with the child protection officer.
Facilitate the participation and engagement of vulnerable target individuals and groups in planned activities, ensuring appropriate attention is paid to specific emotional and physical needs.
Undertake and follow up referral of protection cases internally and externally for individuals at risk.
Participate in regular project meetings and attend internal and external trainings, as appropriate and required.
Provide daily updates on project activities and file weekly reports to the Child protection Officer
Ensure senior project staff are kept informed on progress towards targets and issues that impact project/activity implementation.
Profiling children into different categories.
Organizes regular awareness and information sessions in classrooms.
Identifies cases of abuse towards students(verbal or physical) and takes necessary precautions to prevent them from happening again.
Identifies and refers students with special needs to specialized NGOs.
Ensures proper documentation of data collected(hard and soft copies).
Writes weekly reports, and refers specific cases.
Shares information on field-level successes and challenges with the target students.
Any other duties relating to the nature of thejob as directed by the Child protection officer.
