About FSC PROJECTThe Food System Challenge supports businesses to solve core challenges of the food system in Lebanon, and more specifically in the sectors of dairy and meat production (cow, goat, sheep), cereals and pulses (and its by-products), protected horticulture (Classical green houses, hydroponics, and aquaponics), and domesticated edible herbs and plants.
The Food System Challenge is implemented by the World Food Programme (WFP) and Berytech through support from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Throughout FSC’s previous and current cycles, the program supported over 40 SMEs to fortify the Lebanese food system to create a more sustainable ecosystem.
SME Background Tsoler’s, a Lebanese-based SME, specializes in producing authentic baked snacks using natural ingredients sourced from local farmers. As part of its growth and transformation under the Food System Challenge (FSC), Tsoler’s is enhancing its production capabilities and expanding its local and international market reach. To strengthen its brand identity and digital presence, Tsoler’s requires expert social media content creation services, including photography and videography.ObjectiveThe primary objective of this consultancy is to create engaging and high-quality visual and written content that showcases Tsoler’s Lebanese heritage, product quality, and authenticity. The content will aim to increase brand awareness, attract new customers, and support market expansion efforts.
Scope of workThe consultant will be required to deliver the following services:
- Photography:
- Conduct on-site products and lifestyle photoshoots showcasing Tsoler’s products, production processes, and heritage elements.
- Deliver high-resolution images suitable for digital platforms, promotional materials, and packaging.
- Videography:
- Develop concepts and storyboard for promotional videos.
- Shoot and edit short-form videos, such as product showcases, behind-the-scenes clips, and customer testimonials.
- Provide a final edited version of videos optimized for social media platforms.
- Social Media Content Creation:
- Create visually appealing and engaging posts, stories, and reels for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Draft compelling captions to accompany the visual content.
- Brand Storytelling:
- Emphasize Tsoler’s use of local ingredients and its commitment to Lebanese culinary traditions.
- Highlight the company’s focus on sustainability and its positive impact on local farming communities.
- A monthly calendar of social media posts (minimum 10 posts and 5 stories per month).
- A portfolio of 50+ high-resolution edited images.
- 5 edited promotional videos (1-2 minutes each).
- A comprehensive content strategy document.
- Monthly analytics report on content performance and engagement metrics.
- Proven experience in social media content creation, photography, and videography.
- Strong portfolio demonstrates expertise in branding and storytelling.
- Familiarity with the food and beverage industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Lebanese culture and culinary traditions is highly desirable.
The selected Consultant is expected to start his/her activities soon after selection; the exact timeline and effective working days are to be set based on both the company’s and the Consultant’s availabilities. The total budget allocated for the intervention is between $3,000 and $4,000.
Candidates should submit the following documents.
- Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in the section: “Scope of Work, Duration, and Deliverables” elaborating it further.
- Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs should be included as an annex) along with project references on the topic.
- Financial Proposal describing the expected remuneration and the proposed timeframe of the intervention. Quotations in response to this RFP must be priced on a Level-of-effort (Number of working days) term contract, all-inclusive basis, including delivery and all other costs. Pricing must be presented in USD and offers must remain valid for not less than 30 calendar days after the offer deadline. Offerors are requested to provide quotations on their official quotation format or letterhead.
