LOST is seeking a skilled psychologist to contribute to its educational program. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions that promote mental well-being, support personal development, and address psychological challenges stemming from trauma, illness, or other impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and screenings to evaluate beneficiaries' mental health and difficulties.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on identified needs and therapeutic goals.
- Provide therapy for children with special needs, ensuring consistent monitoring and documentation of progress.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to set goals and assess outcomes.
- Offer guidance to teachers and staff to implement strategies supporting psychological and emotional growth.
- Maintain detailed records, including progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries.
- Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for team members.
- Foster a supportive environment to enhance beneficiaries’ self-esteem and emotional resilience.
- Explore and address the root causes of psychological challenges.
- Provide mentorship and ongoing psychological support to beneficiaries.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective therapeutic strategies.
- Regularly update team members on progress, challenges, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychological assessment, therapy, and intervention.
- Expertise in understanding human behavior, cognitive functioning, and psychosocial challenges.
- Skilled in treatment planning, intervention delivery, and outcome evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in using digital tools.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.

All staff must ensure that they understand and act in accordance with this clause.
