Fundraising Assistant

Management and Operational Support:

  • Coordinate and manage the Fundraising Manager’s calendar, scheduling meetings with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up tasks for fundraising team meetings.
  • Track the Fundraising Manager’s tasks and priorities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and implementing fundraising policies, procedures, and plans.
  • Support in managing budgets for campaigns, events, and donor-related activities, ensuring expenses are monitored and documented.
  • Act as the point of contact between the Fundraising Manager and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Donor Relations and Engagement:

  • Maintain and update the donor relationship management system, ensuring donor profiles, interactions, and contributions are accurately recorded.
  • Draft and send personalized communications, including acknowledgment letters, impact reports, and invitations.
  • Research donor history and prepare detailed briefs for the Fundraising Manager ahead of meetings and pitches.
  • Assist in planning and managing donor appreciation initiatives, such as recognition events and tailored thank-you campaigns.

Campaign and Event Coordination:

  • Support the Fundraising Manager in designing and implementing fundraising campaigns, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
  • Oversee logistics for fundraising events, including securing venues, managing vendors, and coordinating with volunteers and staff.
  • Create and distribute event schedules, ensuring the Fundraising Manager and team are fully prepared.
  • Track event outcomes and compile post-event reports for evaluation and future planning.

Grant and Proposal Assistance:

  • Assist the Fundraising Manager in identifying and researching grant opportunities aligned with CVC Charity’s mission.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of grant proposals, including gathering required documentation and data.
  • Maintain a database of grant deadlines, progress updates, and reporting requirements.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze fundraising data to provide the Fundraising Manager with insights and recommendations.
  • Create detailed monthly and quarterly reports on fundraising performance, including campaign success metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in fundraising activities, documenting all processes.
