Research and Data Analyst Consultant- Porticus Project

The Porticus-funded “Towards a Social and Emotional Learning Policy for Children in Lebanon” aims to devise a national roadmap toward establishing solid foundations from which to facilitate the development of a comprehensive SEL policy for Lebanon; policies in SEL will ensure a systematic integration and institutionalization of an SEL culture into both formal and non-formal educational system.

World Learning has an immediate vacancy for its Beirut-based - Porticus- funded “Towards a Social and Emotional Learning Policy for Children in Lebanon."

The responsibilities of the Research and Data Analyst Consultant include:

• Actively participating in designing research and developing tools.
• Contributing to drafting and conducting focus group discussions, key informant interviews, surveys, data collection protocols, and in-depth interviews. 
• Attending internal meetings with the project team to update on research progress, share insights, anticipate challenges, and propose solutions.
• Leading on data analysis and reporting of results.
• Document and communicate research findings through presentations to educators and different stakeholders, ensuring accessibility of information in both English and Arabic.  
• Collaborating with team to produce technical documents and academic papers that contribute to the field of SEL and policy development.
• Contributing to the synthesis of research findings into a comprehensive final report, incorporating feedback from team members and stakeholders
• Designing and delivering capacity-building sessions as needed.
• Representing World Learning at working groups and meetings.
