Background:
The LEGO Monitoring Officer is responsible for overseeing, tracking, and evaluating the performance and impact of LEGO-related programs or projects. This includes ensuring alignment with organizational goals, maintaining quality standards, and producing actionable insights through data collection and
analysis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and Evaluation:
Develop and implement monitoring frameworks and tools for LEGO activities.
Track progress and performance indicators to measure outcomes and impact.
Conduct field visits to assess LEGO project implementation.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
Gather data through surveys, interviews, and observations.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project effectiveness.
Provide regular reports on findings and recommendations for improvements.
3. Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with LEGO teams, educators, and community partners.
Coordinate with the logistics team to monitor the distribution and use of LEGO materials.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all LEGO projects comply with organizational standards and guidelines.
Identify risks or challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
Promote best practices in LEGO usage and educational methodologies.
5. Capacity Building:
Train team members and stakeholders on monitoring tools and evaluation techniques.
Requirements, Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project monitoring, evaluation, or a similar role.
Experience in education or toy-based learning initiatives is a plus.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar software).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with LEGO methodologies, STEAM education, or related programs is an advantage.
Deliverables:
Monthly and quarterly monitoring reports.
A comprehensive end-of-project evaluation report.
