Case Management Supervisor

Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Program Director for the "Protection and Resilience Building in Baalbek-Hermel" project, the Case Management Supervisor will oversee the daily performance and workload of case workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with LOST policies.

Job Description:

  • Supervise and oversee the case management process, ensuring that all cases receive the necessary care and support.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of cases by reviewing case files and databases, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to data protection and information-sharing protocols.
  • Regularly assess staff caseloads to ensure they are manageable and communicate any challenges to senior management.
  • Provide support for individual cases as needed and monitor all aspects of case management services on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure that staffing gaps do not affect beneficiary support, and assist the Case Management Specialist in addressing these gaps through the capacity building plan.
  • Review, analyze, and report on case management trends to inform program planning.
  • Facilitate and participate in case conferences for complex cases, ensuring relevant stakeholders are involved.
  • Ensure effective communication between senior management and the case management team.
  • Coordinate access to necessary activity materials and logistical support, collaborating with the Project Manager to set eligibility criteria.
  • Provide briefings on child safeguarding and appropriate conduct with children to all case management staff, ensuring concerns are promptly reported and addressed.
  • Monitor the case management process using supervision and monitoring tools.
  • Lead weekly case management meetings to ensure timely dissemination of critical information from the field and other relevant sectors.
  • Ensure the implementation of internal and national Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and referral mechanisms for child assistance.
  • Support the Case Management Specialist in providing technical guidance to case workers on complex cases.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on referred cases in line with agreed-upon timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Child Protection (CP) Project Manager and the CP field team.
  • Provide reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in social sciences, pedagogy, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with children and organizing activities.
  • Previous experience in an NGO setting is a plus.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural environment is preferable.

Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is everyone’s responsibility and all staff are required to adhere to the code of conduct, that enshrines the principles of PSEA, always (Both during work hours and outside work hours). Familiarization with, and adherence to, the code of conduct is an essential requirement of all staff, in addition to related mandatory training. All staff must ensure that they understand and act in accordance with this clause.
