Education Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide technical guidance to all project staff. 

Ensure the development and implementation of relevant and engaging educational programs aligned with project goals. 

Monitor and assess the quality of education, teaching methods, and materials, ensuring they are effective and meet the needs of students. 

Develop work plans, conduct risk assessments, and monitor project activities and budget utilization. 

Act as the primary liaison with the training partner to enhance the capacity of learning center staff, incorporating feedback for improvements. 

Ensure the appropriate and efficient use of educational materials and resources across all learning centers. 

Ensure training venues are prepared and participants are well-supported. 

Facilitate coordination with teachers, coordinators, student supervisors, academic supervisors, and the Child Protection Officer to streamline activities across learning centers. 

Coordinate with the safeguarding focal person to review and implement HAND's safeguarding policy. 

Coordinate with donor, represent the organization at partner meetings, and provide regular updates and reports. 

Draft progress and final project reports for management and donors. 

Build connections with local communities and engage key stakeholders in social events. 

Participate in the recruitment process for project staff. 

Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the line manager. 

Education & Experience: 
Education: 

Advanced degree in social work or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 

Experience: 

At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within NGOs. 

Strong interpersonal and team management skills. 

Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. 

Experience working with refugees and managing teams. 

Proficiency in problem-solving, planning, and documentation. 

Fluency in written and spoken English. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with other database tools.
