Job Description

The driver will help the Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) project by providing safe transportation for staff, beneficiaries, & materials. The role includes taking care of the vehicle and supporting project activities in the following areas:

  Akkar Region:
    Fnaydeq, Akkar Atiqa, Hrar, Rahbe, Akroum, Al-Qoubayat, Berqayel, Al-Mhamra, Machta Hasan,

    Miniyeh Danniyeh:

     Beit El Faes

    North Lebanon:
    Tripoli, Koura, Mankoubi, Chekka

Key Responsibilities:

Driving:

Safely transport staff, beneficiaries, and equipment to different locations.

Help load and unload supplies when needed.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Check the vehicle daily to ensure it’s in good condition.

Keep the vehicle clean and take it for maintenance or repairs when needed.

Records and Reporting:

Keep a logbook of trips, fuel use, & maintenance.

Report any issues or accidents to the supervisor.

Safety and Support:

Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines.

Assist the team with errands and logistics during field activities.

Qualifications:

A valid driver’s license.

Experience driving, preferably with NGOs or similar work.

Knowledge of roads in Akkar and Tripoli.

Basic reading and writing skills in Arabic; English is a plus.

High school education is a bonus.
