To support these values, the organization seeks to engage a consultant to develop a Conflict of Interest Manual for Sheild Association that will guide staff in identifying, addressing, and managing conflicts of interest. The manual will provide clear definitions and procedures to ensure that all individuals involved with the organization are aware of their responsibilities and are equipped to prevent and resolve potential conflicts of interest. The organization also recognizes the need for a Code of Conduct that will be signed by an authorized official.
