Outreach Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Outreach Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage target audiences, raise awareness about our organization's mission and programs, and build relationships with community stakeholders.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic outreach plans and campaigns to expand the organization's business model and drive community engagement.
  • Identify and research potential partners, particularly MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), and local stakeholders to cultivate productive relationships.
  • Conduct outreach activities aimed at fostering connections with target partners and stakeholders, including networking events, meetings, and presentations.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with MSMEs, local businesses, community organizations, and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration and support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align outreach efforts with business development strategies and objectives.
  • Create and distribute outreach materials tailored to target partners and stakeholders, highlighting the organization's mission, programs, and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Utilize various communication channels, including social media, email marketing, and direct outreach, to engage with potential partners and stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze outreach efforts, including partner engagement, feedback, and outcomes, to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Provide support in developing partnership proposals, agreements, and other documents related to outreach and business development initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market opportunities, and community needs to adapt outreach strategies and approaches accordingly.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in outreach, community engagement, or related roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build relationships effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach to achieving outreach goals.
  • Experience in event planning, project management, and working with volunteers or community groups.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, email marketing tools, and other digital outreach channels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for social justice, community development, and making a positive impact in communities.
