Noun Solidarity

Noun Solidarity's broader objective is to empower marginalized women and girls in rural Lebanon by creating a safe and inclusive space where they can access resources, develop skills, and advocate for their rights. We strive to achieve this through: Promoting gender equality and challenging patriarchal norms: We conduct workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns on topics such as gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and feminist leadership. Providing educational and economic opportunities: We offer vocational training programs, entrepreneurship support, and access to resources that enable women and girls to achieve economic independence and participate actively in their communities. Fostering community building and solidarity: We create a safe and supportive environment where women and girls can connect, share experiences, and build solidarity to advocate for social change. Advocating for policy change and social justice: We engage in advocacy efforts to promote gender-responsive policies and challenge discriminatory practices that perpetuate inequality. Ultimately, Noun Solidarity envisions a society where all women and girls are empowered to reach their full potential and live with dignity, free from discrimination and violence.
