MEAL Officer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and systems to monitor program performance.

Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities and ensure data quality.

Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project outcomes and impact.

Track progress against project indicators and provide timely feedback to program teams.

Maintain updated project databases and ensure proper documentation of M&E processes.

Ensure effective complaint and feedback mechanisms are in place for beneficiaries.

Maintain confidentiality and integrity of data collected through feedback channels.

Facilitate regular feedback sessions with communities to ensure accountability.

Identify and document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories for program improvement.

Assist in organizing learning events and workshops for staff and stakeholders.

Support the integration of learning into program planning and design.

Prepare and submit high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual MEAL reports.

Provide data-driven insights to support donor reporting and proposal development.

Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.

Capacity Building

Train project staff on MEAL tools, data collection methodologies, and reporting standards.

Provide ongoing technical support to field teams to enhance their MEAL capacities.

Work closely with program, field, and management teams to align MEAL activities with project goals.
