Field Coordinator – Beirut & North Lebanon (2 Vacancies)

Job Title: Field Coordinator
Location: North and Beirut/Mount Lebanon
Duration: 3 Months (Temporary Contract)
Reports to: Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Field Coordinator to oversee and manage the field operations for our Ramadan Distribution Program. The Field Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the distribution of food parcels to designated beneficiaries while ensuring smooth logistical operations, compliance with organizational policies, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the distribution of food parcels to beneficiaries in assigned locations.
• Develop and implement field distribution plans, schedules, and logistics to ensure efficient delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of distribution activities, ensuring compliance with project objectives and organizational standards.
• Collect and analyze data from field operations to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
• Liaise with partner organizations to facilitate smooth distribution activities.
• Oversee the storage, transportation, and handling of distribution items to ensure they reach the intended recipients in good condition.
• Monitor and report on field operations, identifying challenges and proposing solutions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations regarding distribution processes.
• Manage cash for work volunteers, providing guidance, training, and supervision during distribution activities.
• Maintain accurate records of distributions, including beneficiary lists, inventory tracking, and incident reports.
• Address any issues or conflicts that may arise in the field and escalate concerns to management as needed.
• Conduct post-distribution assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and gather feedback for future improvements.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on distribution outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned for internal and donor reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in humanitarian studies, logistics, project management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in field coordination, logistics, or humanitarian aid distribution.
• Experience working with NGOs, community development programs, or emergency response initiatives.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data collection tools.
• Fluency in [specify language(s)] is required.
• Willingness to travel to field locations and work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
