Admin and Finance Officer

Scope of work: 

Provide administrative support for Qorras’ projects: documentation of recruitment processes and manage contracts with consultants

Maintain Qorras’ database of internal and partners minutes and internal documents

Maintain Qorras’ database of expenses and upcoming payments

Support Qorras’ team with their administrative and office needs

Attend and participate in team meetings when required

Follow-up on bank-related matters when required (pay-roll and expenses)

Maintain records of all payments and receivables and prepare monthly reports for all grants related activities

Financial support, assist in collecting quotations and provide guidelines for payment processes 

Arrange flights, transportation, venue bookings, catering, accommodation and per diems for projects 

Support Qorras’ team in issuing payments in line with Qorras’ policy

Coordinate with the implementation team over spending plan and completion of tasks for consultants

Support implementation team with financial reporting to donors. 

Coordinating with the auditor’s office and for tax declarations and reporting to the Ministry of Finance. 

Prepare budgets for new grants applications 

 

Required qualifications:

Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel


Can work and use Google products and other online tools for communication (e.g. Email, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets and other management tools) 


Exhibits strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Likes working in a team

Basic knowledge of financial documentations and taxation

Basic understanding of gender and sexuality issues

Fluency in English and Arabic 

Bachelor Degree in finance or accounting or at least 2 years of relevant experience
