Content Analyst and Copywriter

Established in 2023, the SSE Task Force was created to advance social entrepreneurship in Lebanon amid ongoing social, economic, and environmental challenges. This collaborative initiative unites key stakeholders to address the challenges faced by social enterprises and strengthen the SSE ecosystem. The task force was initially supported by the SEE CHANGE project, previously funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium including Oxfam, COSV, and Beyond Group.

The Lebanese Social Enterprises Association (LSE) is committed to strengthening the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Lebanon by supporting social enterprises and advocating for a more enabling ecosystem. LSE aims to provide the necessary support to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the SSE Task Force.

The SSE Task Force works on implementing the SSE Ecosystem Advocacy & Action Plan (EAAP), which focuses on:

  • Establishing a national network of social enterprises
  • Engaging in policy advocacy efforts with government and private stakeholders
  • Strengthening the SSE ecosystem through collaborative initiatives

The Task Force operates through four committees—Program, Legal, Fundraising, and Communication—to drive key initiatives and deliverables.

 

About The Role

The content analyst and copywriter is responsible for narrative content development that effectively convey the SSE Task Force's mission and activities. They will ensure the publication of high-quality reports and craft persuasive narratives and data-driven insights. This role demands critical thinking skills and the ability to synthesize information gathered from Task Force members and the broader sector to create content that supports increased collaboration.

Role Description

  • Proficiency in understanding the local context, essential for crafting compelling messaging that resonates with the target audience.
  • Work closely with the SSE Task Force coordinators to ensure high quality and cohesive content that aligns with the task force’s goals.
  • Develop engaging visual and written content for the webpage and social media.
  • Communicate and coordinate with LSE team to understand the Task Force goals, target audiences, and unique value propositions.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Support a promotional campaign and communication strategy to enhance visibility.
  • Work closely with our skilled in-house web developer on all content needs.
  • Develop and produce high-quality and diverse content for social media platforms.
  • Generate innovative and engaging ideas for social media content that align with the SSE Task Force brand identities and marketing objectives.
  • Interpret data and analytics to derive actionable insights.
  • Help shape and be a master of the SSE Task Force voice on social platforms.
  • Research and study industry trends to write compelling and engaging content in collaboration with the Task Force coordinators.
  • Support the Task Force online and in-person events including webinars and conferences.
  • Continuously research and self-educate about trends in social entrepreneurship.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content across a variety of formats.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in a digital content writing role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, content editor, or similar role, ideally within an NGO or social impact organization.
  • Ability to create engaging and compelling digital content.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Collaborative with excellent communication skills to work closely with other stakeholders and partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and insights to create compelling content
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with strong writing skills.
