Make-up Instructor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach Makeup Techniques:
   • Provide instruction on skincare, foundation application, contouring, eye and lip makeup, and special effects.
   • Train students in various styles, including natural, bridal, editorial, and theatrical makeup.
2. Develop Course Materials & Lesson Plans:
   • Create engaging and comprehensive lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations.
   • Stay updated on the latest makeup trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.
3. Hands-on Training & Demonstrations:
   • Conduct live demonstrations and guide students through step-by-step applications.
   • Supervise students as they practice makeup techniques on models or mannequins.
4. Assess & Evaluate Students:
   • Monitor student progress through practical assessments and written exams.
   • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
5. Ensure Hygiene & Safety Standards:
   • Educate students on proper hygiene, sanitation, and tool sterilization.
   • Promote safe practices when handling makeup products and tools.
6. Industry Guidance & Career Support:
   • Advise students on career paths in makeup artistry, including freelancing and working with brands, salons, or film and TV industries.
   • Assist students in building their portfolios and resumes.
7. Maintain a Professional Learning Environment:
   • Foster a creative and supportive atmosphere for learning.
   • Encourage students to experiment with different looks and styles.
