Communications Intern

Key Objectives: Provide support for the Department in the following areas

Social Media Asset Production:

  • Create engaging social media content and captions including graphics, videos, and posts, to promote our projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in developing a content calendar and scheduling posts across various social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.

Field Story Production:

  • Visit project sites to gather stories, interviews, and visual content that highlight the impact of our work.
  • Collaborate with field staff to identify compelling stories and ensure accurate representation of our projects.
  • Produce written and multimedia stories for use on social media, the website, and other communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Journalism etc…).
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations. (we provide comprehensive safety and security training to ensure a safe working environment).
