Communication Expert

To tackle the multifaceted challenges faced by vulnerable young people in Lebanon, Al Majmoua and PIL, under the DAEM project, work on a holistic approach to empower young people, their family, their community, while engaging a wider ecosystem of local stakeholders to ensure a systemic and durable improvement of conditions of young people in Lebanon.  

To ensure the communication and social media presence to effectively engage stakeholders, and share the impact of the DAEM program, Al Majmoua seeks a skilled Communication expert who will be responsible for ensuring proper coordination, scheduling, and dissemination of Al Majmoua’s DAEM program activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Communication expert will:

  • Act as the focal point for communication between Al Majmoua and its partner regarding the visibility of the program activities.
  • Follow-up on the collection of necessary information related to events, trainings, and other program activities to be disseminated on social platforms.
  • Draft posts to be reviewed with the Livelihoods project Manager
  • Regularly post about the project on Al Majmoua social media
  • Ensure smooth coordination for the creation of success stories and videos.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule to effectively cover program-related events and trainings.
  • Organize photography, videography, and content creation during events and trainings.
  • Collect and compile photos, videos, and written content from events and trainings.
  • Prepare regular communication schedules and reports to track activities and progress.
  • Ensure to strictly follow Al Majmoua code of conduct, PSEAH and child protection policy.

 

Deliverables:

The Communication Expert will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • High-quality photos and engaging written content for events and trainings.
  • Success stories and video content prepared in collaboration with the DAEM project partners.
  • A detailed schedule outlining communication and event coverage plans.
  • Regular quality posting on Al Majmoua social media
  • Regular reports summarizing communication activities, coverage, and progress.
  • Updates on the status of coordination efforts with partners.

Duration of the Assignment

The assignment is expected to start Mid-March 2025 and end in June 2026.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficiency in content creation and social media portfolio management.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of photography and videography is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Monthly consultancy fees

Noting that:

  • Al Majmoua will cover the transportation cost related to specific field visits to take videos or photos.
  • If the consultant does not have a fiscal number, Al Majmoua will deduct the consultancy tax for a percentage of 8.5% from the consultancy fees.
