Responsibilities And Obligations:
- Assessment, analysis, clear intervention plan based on outcomes:
- Conduct a primary assessment of new cases along with the SW when needed, resulting in clear outcomes related to abuse
- Conduct a thorough and comprehensive assessment of the reported cases, analyzing protection’s parameters related to the situation of abuse
- Plan a psychological intervention based on the appropriate method to the practice’s context
- Set objectives within the action plan established with the child and family
- Psychological Support and intervention:
- Intervene with varied thematic in child maltreatment: emotional, physical, sexual abuse, neglect, child labor, children in need of alternative care, intercountry case management, etc.
- Provide therapeutic support to children and families making sure that all measures taken are in line with the Resilience program’s guidelines, procedures, and SOP’s timeframe, with respect to the Lebanese Law
- Cover at least two shifts outside himaya’s center
- Reporting and multi-disciplinary collaboration:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all case assessments, intervention plans, communications, and follow-up actions with respect to deadlines and standards
- Commit to document and report as per the set deadlines and standards
- Coordinate with the Social Worker, the Senior Social worker/ the Senior Case Manager on the progress of the cases on a monthly basis
- Identify and refer children and caregivers to psychiatric services
- Refer families to appropriate services internally or externally and other NGOs when needed
- Identify and refer children to psychometric evaluation
- Commit to group initiatives that are intended to enhance performance: psychosocial workshop, brainstorming meeting, supervision, team activities…
- Miscellaneous:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of himaya by effectively communicating information about its activities, projects, mission, values, and history
- Adhere to the mission and values of himaya by adopting and conveying its core values and concepts in both personal and professional contexts
- Participate in all activities and events organized by himaya (e.g., staff care, end-of-year gatherings...,)
- Respect the Code of Conduct, the Child Protection Safeguarding Policy, the PSEAH Policy, and all internal regulations

Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant experience
Knowledge of child protection laws and their implementation in Lebanon (e.g., Personal status Law, 422/2002 Law, 293 Law, 220/2000 Law...)
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in complex situations
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient in oral and written communication
Strong team player with experience collaborating and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize information to support and apply intervention methods and techniques
Critical thinking ability
Research-oriented
Engaged in personal therapy and self-improvement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Fluent in Arabic and English, with basic knowledge of French.
