Red Oak is a humanitarian, developmental and cultural non-profit organization established in Lebanon in 2017. This includes children at risk, survivors of violence, exploitation, and abuse and their caregivers, women and girls, and persons with disabilities. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the overall implementation of the Child Protection project that will take place in collective shelters in El Meten, ensuring objectives are achieved within the set timeline. 

Develop and manage a project calendar to track and fulfill each goal and objective efficiently. 

Ensure sessions are delivered in alignment with global minimum standards and national inter-agency SOPs and guidelines. 

Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation (M&E) assessments to measure progress against project objectives. Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements during field visits and other relevant moments. 

Assist the Project Manager (PM) with reporting tasks and ensure the effective implementation of the project’s M&E plan. 

Supervise and support project team members, volunteers, and manage tasks as required.

Provide coaching and ensure staff receive appropriate training to build capacity and enhance performance. 

Model and uphold the organization’s values when interacting with team members, local staff, beneficiaries, and external stakeholders. 

Coordinate with partner organizations to ensure smooth implementation and synergy between activities. 

Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and represent the organization in relevant meetings. 

Prepare presentation materials for meetings, field visits, and interactions with stakeholders, partners, and donors. 

Handle additional tasks as requested by management, including providing administrative support.

 

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of experience in managing or coordinating projects, preferably in child protection, humanitarian aid, or community development.

Demonstrated knowledge of child protection principles, guidelines, and inter-agency standards.

Experience in project management, including developing timelines, tracking deliverables, and reporting on progress.

Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of projects to ensure alignment with objectives and quality standards.

Experience supervising teams and volunteers, with a focus on coaching, capacity building, and performance improvement.

Experience working in collaboration with partner organizations, donors, and other stakeholders.

Familiarity with report writing and presentation preparation for meetings with donors, partners, and stakeholders.

Previous work in emergency or humanitarian settings is an asset.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including donors, partners, and beneficiaries. 

Strong project management skills, including planning, monitoring, and reporting. 

Ability to lead and motivate teams, providing coaching and support as needed. 

Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when required. 

Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken); knowledge of French is a plus.

Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and M&E tools to track project outcomes. 

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. 

Attention to detail with strong follow-up capabilities. 

Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to handle challenges effectively. 

Cultural sensitivity and empathy when working with vulnerable populations, especially children.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other project management tools.
