Art Therapy / Psychodrama Trainer (Consultant)

MOSAIC is a holistic and interdisciplinary program committed to improving the health and wellbeing of disempowered communities in Lebanon and the MENA/SWANA region overall. Through its national presence and its regional and international networks, MOSAIC's strategic goal is to achieve the coexistence of people in friendly communities and national systems. Founded by activists and legal and health experts, MOSAIC provides specialized and sensitive mental health services (drama and art therapy included), psychosocial support, capacity development and awareness sessions for LGBTIQ+ individuals in addition to protection services including case management and legal services ranging from consultations to representation if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead five structured sessions per group (total of 20 sessions) using art therapy, psychodrama, or related creative therapeutic techniques.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for participants to explore emotions and experiences.
• Adapt methodologies to the needs of LGBTIQ individuals, ensuring cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed practices.
• Coordinate with MOSAIC’s mental health team to ensure appropriate referrals and follow-ups.
• Provide a brief progress report at the end of the engagement, summarizing key observations, outcomes, and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Degree in psychology, art therapy, drama therapy, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience conducting group therapy, workshops, or psychosocial support sessions.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, mental health, and LGBTIQ+ issues.
• Skills: Facilitation, group dynamics management, and ability to adapt interventions to different needs.
• Languages: Fluency in Arabic required; English is a plus.
