Psychosocial Support (PSS) Focal Point

Key Responsibilities

1- Psychosocial Support & Community Engagement

• Provide structured PSS activities for children, caregivers, and community members.
• Facilitate group and individual PSS sessions, focusing on emotional well-being and resilience.
• Identify children and families in need of specialized mental health support and refer them to appropriate services.
• Raise awareness about mental health and psychosocial well-being through community sessions.

2- Case Management & Coordination

• Work closely with child protection teams to ensure safe identification and referrals.
• Support caregivers with positive parenting techniques to enhance child well-being.
• Collaborate with schools, NGOs, and local service providers to strengthen the support network.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of PSS activities and provide reports as needed.
