The main objectives of the PSS Facilitator are:
• Provide structured PSS sessions to beneficiaries.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment in the safe space.
• Monitor attendance and engagement.
• Report any protection concerns.
Scope of Work
The successful PSS facilitator shall be responsible for delivering the following to a high-quality standard:
• Conduct structured PSS sessions for children, adolescents and their caregivers.
• Ensure that the safe space remains welcoming, inclusive, and supportive.
• Maintain attendance records and monitor the participation of beneficiaries.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of participants.
• Identify and report any protection concerns or issues faced by beneficiaries.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure a holistic approach to psychosocial support.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving PSS activities.
• Contribute to reporting and documentation as required.
Deliverables
The PSS facilitator is expected to deliver the following:
• Attendance records for each session.
• Session reports and evaluations.
• Recommendations for program improvements.
• Documentation of the activities conducted.
Duration
The contract will be for a maximum of 9 months period (April- End of the year) covering a max of 9 days per month.
Qualifications and Experience
The service provider should have:
• Background in psychology, social work, or related field is preferable.
• Previous experience in facilitating psychosocial support activities.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and engaging environment for participants.
• Experience in working with vulnerable groups and an understanding of protection principles.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
