Head of Programs

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development and Implementation:

Design, plan, and execute skill development and employability programs for existing CIS College students.

Oversee the implementation of externally funded capacity-building programs for new students and trainees.

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to align programs with market needs.

Develop program schedules, materials, and methodologies to ensure effective delivery.

Ensure programs comply with institutional and funding requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, industries, and employment agencies to establish partnerships for student internships, training, and employment opportunities.

Liaise with external funders to secure program funding and meet donor expectations.

Work with academic and administrative staff to integrate programs into the institutional framework.

Monitoring and Reporting:

Track program progress, outcomes, and participant feedback to ensure objectives are met.

Prepare periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Analyze labor market trends and provide insights to adapt programs to evolving industry needs.

Support and Guidance:

Provide guidance and support to students participating in employability programs, helping them build resumes, prepare for interviews, and develop professional skills.

Organize job fairs, networking events, and workshops to connect students with potential employers.

Administrative Duties:

Manage program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Maintain accurate records of participants, outcomes, and funding activities.

Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and related activities.
