Center Supervisor

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Detailed workplan for the center to coordinate all the activities
  • Manage and coordinate the staff (teachers, facilitators and volunteers) at the center level.
  • Monitor time, attendance and leave requests for completeness and accuracy of supervised employees. Confer with staff as needed, regarding regular and punctual attendance.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules that meet program goals and objectives
  • Work with the Field Coordinator to design a timetable of activities in the classes, as well as develop a plan for monitoring the quality and impact of those activities.
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership and overall technical and management support to project’s team.
  • Coordinate with the responsible person for each department (outreach coordinator and volunteers, Nutrition, Education, Protection)
  • Support the Officers and focal point to train center workers on relevant topics.
  • Collect the logistic needs of the centers and act accordingly to ensure the center is fully equipped and meets the program's needs (make procurement requests, check stock, etc.)
  • Organize regular meetings with the center staff in order to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan. Work together with the staff to regularly review and update the work plan when needed.
  • Provide the Field Coordinator with regular activity and monitoring reports.
  • Be responsible for collecting all beneficiary data (registration forms, attendance forms, progress forms etc.) and sharing it with the management on a monthly basis.
  • Review project progress across the center and report any challenges faced directly to the direct supervisor
  • coordinate with the M&E Department to ensure that the output and impact data are captured and used to optimize program quality and identify efficiencies;
  • Represent AFA at related coordination meetings if needed, ensuring proper dissemination of information among relevant partners, donors and relevant government institutions.
  • Support organizing and facilitating field visits for partners, donors and others interested in AFA related projects.
  • In collaboration with the Project team, ensure smooth management of project work and accurate reporting in accordance with AFA and donor regulations.
  • Ensure that all interventions are in compliance with AFA strategies and policies.
