Trainer

PARD is currently implementing an initiative entitled “Empowerment of refugee women through psychological assistance, training and advocacy in 14 gatherings of South Lebanon, Beirut and Wadi Zeini” in partnership with Najde Association, a member of the relevant consortium along with EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI), and funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

Refugee women in Lebanon face multiple challenges, including social marginalization, limited access to basic rights, gender-based violence, and a lack of opportunities for empowerment. While they often possess immense resilience and capacity for leadership, many are unaware of their rights and the tools they can use to advocate for themselves and their communities. Given the current socio-political context in Lebanon, it is crucial to equip refugee women with the knowledge and skills necessary to address these challenges, advocate for their rights, and contribute to peacebuilding and conflict resolution.

This training program will provide refugee women in South Lebanon, Beirut and Wadi Zeine with the necessary tools to address their rights, gender justice, and other key areas essential for community and societal transformation.
