Vocational Instructor - Electrical

DESCRIPTION: 

We are currently looking for an Electrical Vocational Instructor that will be providing at least 90 hours of vocational training to a group of vulnerable Youth and Young Adults.

Location: Tahaddi Education Center (TEC), Hay El Gharbeh, Ghobeiry, behind the sports city, Southern Beirut

Job Type: Consultant

Contract Duration: 90 training hours 

Reports to: Youth Officer

Job description:

• Develop and implement a curriculum for the training
• Educate participants on fundamental electrical concepts and safe maintenance practices.
• Provide practical electricity training
• Evaluate participant knowledge and progress through testing
• Ensure all deliverables are met within the specified timeline

• Support in the outreach within the targeted area
• Adapt training methodologies and instructional strategies to cater the diverse learning needs and abilities of participants
• Prepare and file relevant documents
• Report weekly & monthly on activities and results.

• Coordinate with the youth officer in order to properly document activities (Photos, small videos…);
• Develop a weekly plan 
• Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the rights and dignity of participants

  Qualifications:

• Experience working with non-governmental organizations
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience
• Teamwork, Flexibility, and Ability to adapt content to different learning styles and audience demographics.
• Passion for promoting sustainability
• Communication and problem-solving
• Reporting skills
• Performing under pressure
• Being proficient in Arabic in both written and oral skill
