FemPawer Program The program “Feminist Power in Action for Women’s Economic Rights” (FemPawer) aims to strengthen the capacities of Women’s Rights Organizations and  young women who face economic gender-based violence discriminations in Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Tunisia to become leaders for change. By holding duty bearers accountable and improving conditions for young women in the informal sector through target-led activities, the program ensures that discriminated young women become advocates for their own rights and propose relevant solutions and recommendations. The FemPawer program focuses on strengthening leadership, challenging discriminatory social norms, and promoting women's economic rights.

Shabbat Riyadiyyat – Young Women Network

The Collective for Research and Training on Development-Action (CRTDA) reconfigured an existing potential network structure “Riyadiyat” that aims at economic empowerment of women into an advocacy oriented young women network in the context of FemPawer. Individual representation 2. Adherence to a set of values (participatory work, teamwork, transparency, accepting diversity of views, inclusive action, willingness to engage in intergenerational dialogues, willingness to engage in continuous learning, 3. The network of Shabbat Riyadiyyat contributes as an intersectional, participatory, safe and a learning space to building a movement that advocates for women economic rights. The FemPawer program has been engaging on building the capacities and skills of the young women, so they can become advocates of their own rights, advocates, and pioneers on issues of women’s economic rights from the perspectives of young women.
