- Identify and assess hygiene related needs in informal tented settlements
- Provide hygiene promotion sessions and awareness campaigns
- Conduct various kinds of technical and non-technical WASH assessments
- Distribute hygiene kits and materials
- Respond to possible disease outbreaks through provision of awareness sessions and distribution of relevant kits
- Respond to received hygiene-related referrals and submit referrals via the official NABAD channels
- Daily data reporting of conducted activities (number of individuals reached through hygiene promotion, number of kits distributed…)
- Supervise & participate in loading items to and from the warehouse to ensure the availability of all items during implementation
- Participate in kitting of items: ordering, packing and packaging of kits.
- Capacity building: train WASH committees and Children committees to enable them to conduct basic hygiene awareness in their communities
- Support in Water Trucking & Desludging supervision; collect & report daily figures
- Perform other tasks related to water and sanitation as requested by the Officer, and provide support to other WASH teams.
