Under the mission of “Thriving Together towards communal solidarity for dignified living in Lebanon,” Sanabel Al Nour, a local NGO established in 1995, is committed to supporting the most vulnerable communities in Tripoli through holistic development, humanitarian approach, and multi-sectoral projects.

Sanabel is committed to improving the well-being of orphans, including those with disabilities, from both Lebanese and refugee communities. As part of this mission, we prioritize food security and nutrition to ensure every child has access to safe, healthy meals to avoid hunger and prevent malnutrition.

Under the framework of the Shabake 2 project, in partnership with Expertise France, we are seeking Social worker to join Sanabel Al Nour team.

Introduction

As a Social Worker for the Hot Meal Distribution Project, you will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, performing follow-ups, and delivering hot meals to beneficiaries, serving as a representative of our organization in the field. You will work closely with the Project Officer and drivers to ensure that meals are delivered safely and on time.

In addition, you will accompany orphans and orphans with disabilities, to assist them in selecting their own clothing, ensuring that each child receives appropriate, well-fitting clothes with special attention to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct needs assessments for beneficiaries
2. Deliver hot meals to beneficiaries, ensuring safe and timely distribution.
3. Represent the organization professionally and compassionately in the field.
4. Collaborate closely with the Project Officer and drivers to coordinate deliveries.
5. Accompany orphans and orphans with disabilities during clothing selection activities.
6. Ensure special attention is given to inclusivity, dignity, and the individual needs of each child.
7. Promote a positive, empowering experience for orphans during the clothing distribution process.
8. Conduct follow-ups and gather feedback from beneficiaries to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided, and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a social worker including social needs assessment.
