Facilitator for Awareness Sessions on Down Syndrome

Scope of Work:

The selected consultant will be responsible for:

  1. Preparation of Awareness Session Materials:
    • Develop the session agenda, content, PowerPoint presentation, and interactive exercises.
    • Prepare workshop tools, including attendance sheets, pre/post-tests, and evaluation forms.
  2. Facilitation of Sessions:
    • Conduct and facilitate 13 one-day in-person awareness sessions in multiple locations across Lebanon.
    • Ensure delivery is inclusive, clear, and adapted to the knowledge levels of the target audience.
  3. Reporting:
    • Submit a brief report for each session, including participant feedback, pre/post-test results, and all relevant documentation (attendance sheets, workshop materials, photos if applicable).

Timeline:
Sessions will take place during May through mid-June 2025.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Academic background in occupational Therapy, psychology, special education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering awareness sessions or community training on disability-related topics.
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the context of Palestinian camps and community engagement in Lebanon is an asset.
