Senior IT Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic IT Planning & Digital Transformation

•     Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap aligned with the association’s mission and goals.

•     Conduct current state assessments of IT infrastructure, workflows, and digital readiness.

•     Advise the executive director and executive team on technology trends, risks, and innovation opportunities.

2. e-Governance Development

•     Design and oversee the implementation of secure, transparent, and efficient e-governance platforms.

•     Streamline internal processes (e.g., voting, member management, reporting) using digital tools.

•     Ensure compliance with local and international e-governance regulations and frameworks.

3. Oversight of IT & IM Departments

•     Lead and supervise the IT and IM departments, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and alignment with organizational goals.

•     Manage departmental staffing, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and capacity building.

•     Ensure IT and IM initiatives are integrated with the association’s broader operational and strategic objectives.

4. Interdepartmental Coordination

•     Act as a liaison between IT/IM departments and all other departments to ensure technological alignment, support, and interoperability.

•     Promote a culture of cross-functional collaboration and digital enablement.

•     Provide technical guidance for departmental projects and operational needs.

5. Information Systems & Architecture

•     Evaluate existing information systems and recommend upgrades or reengineering initiatives.

•     Guide the design and deployment of integrated systems for data management, analytics, and reporting.

•     Establish IT governance models, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and disaster recovery protocols.

6. Standardization & Best Practices

•     Develop and implement IT standards, policies, and procedures across departments.

•     Introduce frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, or COBIT where relevant.

•     Ensure interoperability of systems and adherence to national and international IT standards.

7. ERP Implementation & Optimization

•     Lead the selection, customization, and deployment of ERP systems tailored to the association’s needs.

•     Manage ERP integration across finance, HR, membership, events, and project management.

•     Provide training and change management support to ensure user adoption and operational sustainability.

8. Digital Safety & Training

•     Promote a culture of digital safety and cybersecurity awareness across the association.

•     Recommend and implement regular, technology-driven training programs for staff and members on secure digital practices.

•     Monitor cybersecurity threats and ensure proactive mitigation strategies are in place.

•     Support compliance with data protection laws and advocate for ethical technology use.

9. Stakeholder Engagement & Capacity Building

•     Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, vendors, and governmental bodies.

•     Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.

•     Support committees with technical insight for decision-making and policy formulation.

Qualifications: (Must Have)

•     Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

•     Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, ISO 27001, or ERP-related (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.) are preferred.

Experience:

•     Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise IT systems.

•     Proven experience with e-governance platforms, ERP systems, and digital security initiatives in public or non-profit sectors.

•     Experience in leading multidisciplinary IT and IM teams.

Technical Competencies:

•     Strong knowledge of e-Governance, Digital Architecture, ERP, Data Management, and IT Infrastructure.

•     Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).

•     Proficiency in cybersecurity, data privacy regulations, and digital risk mitigation.

Soft Skills:

•     Strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills.

•     Strong ability to build interdepartmental trust and cooperation.

•     Passion for continuous learning, ethical IT governance, and digital literacy.
