Sales and Marketing Specialist

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will lead the development and execution of strategies that enhance the visibility, attractiveness, and sales of APJM’s ecotourism offerings and locally produced products. The role will support customer experience development, grow revenue streams, and establish strong networks across relevant sectors.

 

  1. Customer Satisfaction, Market Research
  • Seek, gather and analyze visitor feedback to continuously improve the ecotourism experience (including feedback form, direct contact, Google reviews, TripAdvisor, etc…)
  • Provide team with detailed reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive actions, and opportunities for new products and services.
  • Apply and promote customer service best practices to attract, retain, and build customer loyalty.
  • Establish and develop communication with new clients and partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and loyalty (outlets, travel agencies, tour operators, schools, influencers, and tourism-related stakeholders…)
  1. Strategy Development:
  • Develop and update a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy across tourism, product sales, and experiential offers.
  1. Marketing, Promotion and Visibility
  • Develop marketing materials and campaigns to promote Jabal Moussa as a premier ecotourism destination, including its visitor services (e.g. local lunches, overnight stays) and locally produced products.
  • Engage with media (radio, TV, blogs…) and participate in media appearances and tourism events to promote ecotourism activities and enhance their visibility
  • Develop and deliver presentations and other content for workshops, seminars, and events to showcase APJM’s initiatives, impact, and ecotourism offerings.
  1. Ecotourism Offer Development
  • Design and develop thematic packages (e.g. hiking with tailored lunch, educational visits with activities, yoga and wellness retreats, archaeological tours), tailored to families, schools, corporate groups, and tourists.
  • Collaborate with the ecotourism team to ensure packages are feasible and aligned with conservation values. Sales Enhancement
  • Monitor and improve product sales at reserve entrances, local outlets, and during events.
  • Identify and develop new sales channels for local products (physical and online).
  • Enhance existing team capacity to promote and sell products and services through tailored training and coaching.
  • Collaborate with the team for the planning, promotion, and execution of seasonal packages (e.g. Christmas, Easter) or special events (fundraising campaigns), and actively promote them through appropriate marketing channels to maximize reach and sales.

 

  1.  Digital Coordination & Content Contribution
  • Work in synergy with the Communication and Rural Development Manager to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
  • Contribute marketing-oriented content for the website, newsletters, and social media platforms.
  • Create promotional content: photos, videos, brochures, product tags, and storytelling materials.

Required Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Previous experience in sales growth, campaign management, and partnership development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
  • Creativity and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work on weekends to be in contact with the visitors.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (email marketing tools, social media advertising, etc.) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Lebanese tourism sector and consumer trends is a plus.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
