Center Coordinator - South

General Purpose:

To ensure the overall coordination and supervision of center activities, including team management, planning, implementation, outreach, reporting, logistics, HR, and coordination with stakeholders. The coordinator is responsible for the smooth functioning of the center and alignment with program objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Supervision and Coordination

- Manage and supervise center staff (including case managers, social workers, psychologist, Volunteers and support staff).
- Lead regular team meetings to ensure coordination and effective delivery of services and activities.
- Oversee staff attendance, scheduling, task delegation, and leave planning.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and identify capacity-building needs.
- Manage HR-related documentation (contracts, timesheets, leave records, etc.).

2. Program and Activity Implementation

- Ensure center activities are implemented according to the work plan and in alignment with program goals.
- Support outreach activities in coordination with the team and case managers.
- Provide logistical support to the psychologist for planning and organizing mental health sessions.
- Support the case management team in daily operations, case referrals, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor the progress of services provided and raise issues or needs to the line manager.

3. Logistics, Finance, and Administration

- Ensure that supplies and materials are requested and available for daily activities.
- Manage the center’s petty cash and ensure timely settlements with proper documentation.
- Follow up on office running costs, maintenance issues, and repair needs.
- Ensure the center’s environment is safe, clean, functional, and child-friendly.
- Coordinate with the logistics and finance departments for procurements and payments.

4. Monitoring and Reporting

- Maintain proper documentation of activities and beneficiary participation.
- Submit regular internal reports on center operations, challenges, and achievements.
- Ensure proper data collection, verification, and reporting using the tools provided.
- Assist in donor reporting as needed.

5. Coordination and External Relations

- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, community focal points, local authorities, and service providers.
- Represent the center in coordination meetings and field visits when needed.
- Facilitate effective referral pathways and external coordination for cases or activities.
