Scope of Work
The expert(s) will be responsible for conducng a comprehensive series of workshops over 2 days in the Bekaa area. The target is 35 parcipants.
The two full-day How to be a successful entrepreneur workshop empowers parcipants by guiding them through the process of conceptualizing, analyzing, and implemenng soluons. It equips them with the skills to devise sustainable soluons across sectors like agri-food, agriculture, and clean technology. At the end of the workshop, parcipants will learn to make informed decisions, apply methodologies, and enhance their creave and analycal thinking abilites.
EXPECTED DELIVERABLES
● Sessions outline activities and learning materials for the session.
● Engaging and interacve workshop sessions that cater to the learning needs of rural youth and encourage acve parcipaon.
● Support materials, such as templates and resources, are available for parcipants to use during and aer the workshops.
● Guidance on selecng and ulizing appropriate tools and techniques for design thinking in the specified domains (agrifoodtech, and cleantech).
● Final report is to be submied to Michel Daher Social Foundation, including participant feedback and progress.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Extensive experience in facilitang design thinking workshops or How to be a successful entrepreneur Workshops preferably in rural or community sengs.
● Demonstrated expertise in agrifoodtech, and cleantech concepts, and a keen understanding of the associated challenges and opportunies.
● Strong background in human-centered design methodologies, with a focus on empathec problem-solving.
● Excellent communicaon skills and the ability to connect with and inspire diverse groups of youth.
● Proven track record of fostering innovaon, ideally within rural or grassroots contexts.
● Availability to conduct 2 days of workshops at Michel Daher Foundation, Ferzol Bekaa.
Step 1: Prepare your Bid Documents
Submit the following:
● Technical Proposal:
Outline your approach for delivering the “How to be a successful entrepreneur” workshop, including curriculum details and activities. Describe your methodology for engaging rural youth, parcularly in the agrifoodtech and cleantech sectors, and how you will incorporate design thinking into the workshop. Highlight your experience working with youth or vulnerable groups and your approach to supporng them through the workshop. Include relevant experience working with NGOs or community organizaons.
● Financial Proposal:
Provide a breakdown of your total offer in USD, including session rates, travel, accommodaon, and any other expenses. Outline the payment structure based on key deliverables (e.g., upon signing the contract, compleon of the workshop, and submission of the final report).

○ References or case studies from previous projects
Step 2: Submit Your Bid
● Email your complete bid to: procurement@daherfoundation.org by June 20, 2025.
● The subject line must include the TOR tle: "How to be a successful entrepreneur trainer". Incomplete submissions or those without the correct subject line will not be considered. Required Documents:

● MOF (Ministry of Finance Cerficate)
Step 3: Offer Validity
Your offer must remain valid for 60 days from the submission deadline. You may be contacted for clarifications or further discussions during this me.
Step 4: Payment Terms
● Payment will be made via bank transfer or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) within 30 working days aer deliverables are met.
● Payment will be processed aer approval of the final workshop and report.
Note: Without a valid MOF cerficate, tax deducons of 3.4% on goods and 8.5% on services will apply, according to the arcles number 41 and 42 of the income tax law.
Step 5: Evaluation
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
● Technical (60%): Methodology, curriculum, experience with youth, and engagement approach for the agrifoodtech and cleantech sectors.
● Financial (40%): Cost-effecveness and competitiveness.
