Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
Develop and implement a clear and compelling vision for the school's future, aligned with the IB mission and learner profile.
Lead the development and execution of the school's strategic plan, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
Foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and international-mindedness throughout the school community.
Academic Excellence
Oversee the implementation and integration of the PYP, MYP, and DP curricula, ensuring coherence and continuity across all programs.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, utilizing data-driven approaches to inform instructional practices.
Support curriculum development and ensure alignment with IB standards and practices.
Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit, mentor, and retain high-quality teaching and administrative staff.
Promote professional growth through ongoing training, workshops, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages innovation and shared leadership.
Student Welfare & Development
Ensure the safety, well-being, and holistic development of all students.
Implement effective student support services, including counseling and learning support.
Promote student agency, leadership opportunities, and engagement in extracurricular activities.
Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with parents, alumni, and the wider community to support the school's mission and goals.
Represent the school at local, national, and international events and forums.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust.
Operational Management
Oversee the school's financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
Manage the school's facilities, technology, and administrative systems efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an IB World School, preferably across multiple IB programmes.
In-depth understanding of IB philosophy, standards, and practices.
Proven track record of leading school improvement initiatives and achieving academic excellence.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a positive school culture.
Preferred Attributes
IB Leadership training or certification.
Experience in international or multicultural educational settings.
Proficiency in English, and Computer skills mainlly productivity tools
Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
