Logistics Operations Management

• Oversee daily tasks of the logistics team in all WVL warehouses, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to policies.
• Ensure the proper implementation of the warehouse management system across all WVL warehouses.
• Maintain and monitor inventory, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with WV policies.
• Ensure the timely and effective delivery of logistics support services to all WVL projects.
• Provide fleet management support, including GPS monitoring when required.
• Follow up on all distributions on field level
• Follow up with the suppliers on the quality and quantity of delivered supplies
• Follow up on Visas for international visitors and employees with the Lebanese authorities and the lawyer in close collaboration with the risk, resilience, and logistics director
• Develop a weekly security report related to distributions
• Ensure that safety and security protocols are in place for all warehouses and logistics operations.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Implement and ensure strict compliance with WV logistics policies, guidelines, and donor requirements.
• Conduct audit and control checks to ensure adherence to the WV logistics handbook.
• Maintain a strong focus on anti-corruption measures through implementing procedures and training programs.
• Ensure that all logistics activities align with WV standards and that staff members follow the correct procedures.

Risk and Resilience

• Conduct security assessments and threat analysis of operating environment ( CRR/SRA )
• Provide advice to staff regarding relations with military and give recommendation on WV’s interaction with the military and law enforcement
• Keep staff informed about any security related developments by providing regular updates and providing security briefing to casual workers, Visitors and Partners
• Ensure the implementation of the minimum security management procedures and standards in the area of operations
• Liaise with other NGO’s, UN agencies, government bodies and attend relevant security and safety meetings when requested by Risk Manager
• Monitor staff movements tracking systems and provide regular info to staff on safety of their movement
• Support in executing security and evacuation plans and procedures

Additional Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events
• Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture
• Report CP incidents as per the safeguarding policy guidelines.
• Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager
• Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• BA in business management, logistics 

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position in logistics and security

• English and Arabic

• Travel internally to all Field Offices and distribution sites
