Political Science Researcher

Key Responsibilities 

• Identify issues for research and recommend appropriate research methods.
• Lead or work on two to three research projects simultaneously.
• Support in drafting quantitative survey questions and qualitative data guides and ensure quality control of data collected.
• Analyze political policies, legislation, government administration, and election results.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Conduct literature reviews and background research on relevant topics.
• Consult with political groups, government officials, civic bodies, research institutes, media, and other relevant parties.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating project-related events, including roundtable workshops, conferences, and dissemination activities.
• Prepare presentations, articles, and other communication materials to disseminate research findings.
• Participate in conferences, seminars, and other events to present research results.
• Maintain organized records of all research activities, data, and project documents.

 Professional Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant research experience, preferably in the areas of political science, public policy, environmental studies, public law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Public Law, or a related field.
• Experience leading a research project.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent writing skills.
• Demonstrated experience with conducting academic/policy research.
• Demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing data and information.
• A problem-solving attitude and approach.
• Proficiency in oral and written English is required.

•   Excellent communication skills.
• Must be a resident of Lebanon.
