Social Worker for South Lebanon & Social Worker for Mount-Lebanon

    Major Duties / Responsibilities:

• Facilitate structured and interactive PSS sessions tailored to women, men, and youth.
• Facilitate Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness sessions, ensuring culturally sensitive, age-appropriate (women, men, and youth), and inclusive discussions that promote safety, dignity, and gender equality among participants.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment adapted to each group's needs.
• Prepare session materials and adapt content based on age group, gender, and context.
• Support participants in exploring emotions, developing coping strategies, and enhancing peer support.
• Conduct basic pre/post assessments and gather participants’ feedback.
• Write clear and timely session reports, including attendance, key observations, challenges, and recommendations.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and case discussions as needed.
• Refer identified cases to the Case Manager or designated protection focal point, following referral protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure a survivor-centered approach in all interactions.

    Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience facilitating psychosocial support activities with varied age groups.
• Demonstrated experience working with women, men, and adolescents in community or humanitarian settings.
• Strong group facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent report writing skills in English.
• Good understanding of PSS principles, gender and age sensitivity, and group dynamics.
• Ability to manage sensitive topics with empathy, neutrality, and confidentiality.
• Fluency in Arabic is required; excellent command of English (spoken and written) is also required.
